John Renzo Daquingan

John Renzo Daquigan was born in Gagum City, Philippines in 1995. He studied with Rodney Yap at the Philippine Women’s College in Davao.Daquigan uses vivid colors and thoughtful compositions citing he was inspired by modern artists such as Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and Vincent Van Gogh. The series “Mates in the Asylum” is meant to illustrate our behaviors as individuals. Dqquigan says that there is insanity in all of us but some can handle it better than others.
