“I am questioning the issues of beliefs and portraying them through my art”
Recently I’ve been working on a new series of figure drawings and paintings that depict visions beyond natural forms. It is actually more of a spiritual approach targeting personal beliefs and principles in life.
Nature, Deities, Man, Tradition, Superstitions, Rituals, Mortality and Life are my greatest obsession and fascination which plays a very important role in my subjects.
My latest pieces are rendered in multiple layers of complex figure drawings.
Most of my artworks are influenced by classical and modern masters such as Raphael, Caravaggio, Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Arshile Gorky, and Francis Bacon.
The works of Alfred Esquillo, Ivan Roxas and Don Salubayba, meanwhile, have molded my foundation in Filipino art.

In 2006, he graduated in the University of Santo Tomas College of Fine Arts and Design, Major in Painting.
